Bidrage med feedbackDrove from Ocean Shores after only limited options and Koko’s not disappointed! They had vegan cauliflowers Tacos, fajita burritos and Cashew “Käse” enchiladas. All were very delicious! They were very accommodating and even made me vegan Elote who was for to die.
I drove by Ocean Shores and, after considering the limited dining options, decided to try Koko's—and I was not disappointed! They offered delicious vegan cauliflower tacos, fajita burritos, and cashew "cheese" enchiladas, all of which were incredibly tasty. The staff was very courteous and even made me some amazing vegan elote that was to die for!
I'm not vegan, but I have a severe milk allergy, which limits my dining options. I often hesitate to try new restaurants due to concerns about cross-contamination. However, this place offered several appealing vegan dishes, so I ordered them with meat to ensure that no dairy products were used. I had the enchiladas, and the green cashew sauce was absolutely delicious! It paired beautifully with the blue corn tortillas. I loved it so much that I returned to try the Poke Shot and the Ahi Tostadas. Both were fantastic, although I had to switch the chipotle sauce for the balsamico to avoid any dairy. The balsamico sauce was fantastic and complemented the dishes perfectly. Overall, it's a great place to dine, but keep in mind that the drinks are quite pricey and small. I ordered the Mango Margarita, which was tasty but only a small size for $16.
I ordered the vegan Cashew and Mexican Enchiladas, along with a side of Plantinitos. While the food was quite good, it lacked a strong flavor, and the enchiladas only included peppers and onions. The Mexican enchiladas did come with a side of rice and beans, which was a nice addition. However, the Guacamole and Chips were absolutely delicious! There's not much to draw me back, but the atmosphere was lovely, and the staff was friendly. The restaurant was very clean and had a pleasant aroma. The decor was interesting and fresh.
I ordered the vegan cashew and Mexican enchiladas, along with a side of plantin. While the food was good overall, it lacked flavor, and the enchiladas only had a hint of pepper and a soft texture. The Mexican enchiladas did come with a side of rice, which was enjoyable. The guacamole and chips, however, were delicious! There wasn't much that stood out to make this a must-visit, but the atmosphere was lovely and the staff were friendly. The restaurant was very clean and had a pleasant aroma. The decor was interesting and fresh.
