De Kombuys Estate - Oudtshoorn

We were looking for a place to have an early dinner and found this hidden gem. What a great spot, situated in a beautiful valley. We were sitting outside, had the best view ever over the vinyard and the food was very very good. What a friendly staff and they were on point! I would definitely recommend to go here if/when you are in Oudtshoorn.

This is a place where you get spoiled!! By the people and the animals alike, through all your senses taste (for out of the ordinary delicious food and wine), sight (beautiful setting, views and more than great accommodation the enjoyment is in the detail), smell (Karoo air, lavender, freshly baked eggs and vanilla), hear (farm noises, sunbirds in the morning and owl calling at night) which all lead to an awesome and blessed feeling!

This is an absolute little gem hidden away between the hills en route to the Cango caves from Oudtshoorn!

What an amazing Restaurant. Had breakfast outside, watching the cows graze against the most spectacular backdrop. Love the details. The Pour Over coffee was a treat.
