Shiki Hibachi Sushi - Ottumwa

Went for my Anniversary, wife wanted sushi, and figured I’d save money if I just got a love boat (5 rolls for the cost of 4) was told that they couldn’t make a love boat because their main sushi guy was out for the day.. but then told me I could order any sushi as it’s own roll. So full price. For the same sushi. And they could have just put it on the fancy boat dish but no all because one guy was gone. I am just in town working at the local hospital and I am so grateful to have found this restaurant. I ordered the vegetable fried rice and veggie dumplings and everything was amazing. Stopped in for lunch and was not disappointed! The food is excellent and beautiful. It felt like I was back in Okinawa, Japan. I had beef yakisoba my wife had vegetable yakisoba, and we shared a Godzilla Sushi roll. Topped it off with delicious peach Saki. The staff were very friendly, great atmosphere. I'll definitely be going back! Parking: Lots of parking, since it's located in a strip mall, so there are plenty of other great stores to visit as well.
