South St.burger - Ottawa

Ambiance: <br/ <br/ A mix of New York fries (they sell new York fries items) and the Works (choose your own burger toppings). Big glass windows, booths and high chairs. They do have a bar section. Huge screen tvs all around the facility. You do have to pay for your food, then wait to choose your toppings then you can go sit (like harveys). <br/ <br/ <br/ FOOD:<br/ <br/ The beef burger is Halal (the only item halal at this place) they have options between how big you want the patty and price range on that. They have multiple option and you can have choose what you want on it. <br/ <br/ The poutine/ veggies works (same as new York fries) I find the fries here taste much better, they are not over done. <br/ <br/ The prices: when you upgrade your fries to poutine or anything else. Other then charging an upgrade fee they charge you for the price of the item. So at the end you end up paying on average 15$ a burger.<br/ <br/ It does taste fresh, and juicy.

They don't let me down ever. Super yummy burgers really good fries. And so many fantastic toppings to choose from. I've been back again and again and they consistently get it right. Service is fairly good. Some of the staff are just meh most are great.

Fantastic burgers! Just the right proportions of meat to bread to toppings. Hard to find a burger so perfectly made. Great patties excellent beef without hormones or antibiotics. Just delectable I will be back for more!

Good beer, good burgers, very fast service. Fast food with a bar. But: put some music on in the place! Liven up the atmosphere all you can hear is fans and the cooks talking. Some music would make the place much better. Also you should get better signage behind where you order for beer and have your emloyees ask people if they want one you miss out on a lot of alcohol sales because it's in a different section. Employees could look a little more waitress/server esquee rather than Burger King. That's all!

Two words AW...SOME. This place is great, fast fresh affordable. They serve great beer local beer and the best burgers in town. <br/ <br/ I took the my wife and kids had the Nacho Burger my wife had the Mushroom Swiss. My kids had 4 oz burgers and all in for the combo was less than $50. <br/ <br/ So Glad they are in Ottawa I will be back for sure.
