Kobe Beef Steak Mouriya Gion - Otsu

Absolutely incredible. Hands down best beef I have ever had. Besides the meat, all the staff is extremely friendly, professional, and considerate. Our chef was amazing and made great suggestions on how best to enjoy the meat without being too pushy. We came for lunch with no reservations and had no problems getting in.

Great courteous staff, with attentive service. The chef, Eguchi san, was really friendly and talkative, and suggested a few places I could visit after lunch. The Kobe beef was, of course, spectacular, and melted in my mouth.

Had a great experience and amazing eating, the restaurant is conveniently located in gion. spacious but cozy atmosphere. the service is top-notch and the steak course is super tasty! the chef was also very friendly and friendly, we are very grateful. highly recommended.

I had the honor to eat in august in this restaurant during my trip in japan. I have the complete menu (260 euro) including appetizers, kobe beaf and dessert. the meat is prepared by a chef (one for each reservation) who explains all steps that are taken. an experience to do at least once in their lives, recommended!

Loved this restaurant! Great choice of beef. If you are in Kyoto and near Gion district then I would suggest you should try this place! Just can't go wrong. And after you are done with your meal? You can take a walk around the famous Gion district. Back to talking about the restaurant. From the start of the meal!? To the wine selection and all the way to the finish of the meal! Excellent. Highly highly recommend this place.
