Bidrage med feedbackDecent price for all you can eat sushi in the old market area. They have all the usual rolls. It won't be hard to order the whole menu.Food: 5/5
This is a pretty good spot to get into in the old market, when the usual places are full. Good sushi, for a good price in one of the most popular places in the city. It seems to be a bit under the radar compared to the places in the area, but if you haven’t tried Tokyo yet, you’re missing out. We got a table of 4 in, with no wait, at prime dinner time on Berkshire weekend. The host/manager who sat us did a wonderful job explaining how everything worked, since none of us had ever considered all you can eat sushi. But for $25 a person? It’s at least worth a try, and it was. Sure, I don’t think it is really close to the best sushi I’ve ever had, but you simply cannot beat it in an all you can eat setting. Tokyos hand rolls also hold a special place in my heart; like really, how am I going to say no to normal sushi wrapped up into a big sea weed cone instead of a normal shaped roll? Everything else just feels boring now in comparison…One last thing, I ordered the spicy tuna pizza off of the rolls category(pictured), not knowing what to expect. You get a patty made of rice, which is fried, and topped with their spicy tuna mix and some sauce. It was a pleasant surprise, good flavor, with a style of cuisine I had never imagined possible. Regardless, I am craving it again as I lay in bed writing this.
This shop is dishonest. It tricks you to order their 13.99 for happy hour, but their nigiri has huge rice, also they won’t clarify that they will charge 4-5 dollars for each ‘unfinished’ sushi.
The food was delicious especially considering it's an all you can eat sushi we did. We only ordered one round with starters on it as well. We enjoyed all the sushi we ordered, no complaints there... I just wish they would've checked to see if I needed a refill on my drink... Uhm, ever. That said, everyone was very busy as we were there for a late lunch so I can't fault them too much. (I took a pic after my friend snuck a couple pieces....)Vegetarian options: They have everything vegetarian marked VE which happens to be a great selectionParking: There was one handicap accessible spot near the restaurant without a curb cutout for anyone in a wheelchair or with significant trouble doing curbs.
If you get the all you can eat, you can't take anything you order to-go which is common for most all you can eat BUT paying a surcharge for uneaten portions is ridiculous. The server had no idea what was in the food dishes nor drinks. It took over an hour to get the sushi rolls and the food was just ok. In my opinion, just go to Blue Sushi.
