Otter Cove Restaurant Bar

Regrettably, we were not impressed by the food. Very fishy smell, not typical of quality seafood. Scallops were tender but not much flavor. Shrimp, was not good. Wine list? You have to ask the bartender.

Had a wonderful birthday meal. It was the day before St. Patrick's Day so the specials were Irish oriented. My husband had the whiskey honey glazed salmon which he said was very tasty. My daughter had the traditional corned beef and cabbage and my son had Shepard's pie. Not much was left to bring home in doggie bags. Lots of nice wood paneling inside and we were seated near the fireplace. The grandkids even enjoyed it. Parking: The restaurant is right off of Route 9 in Old Saybrook. There is parking in both the front and the back of the restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: Walk up ramp for a cess to front door and outdoor seating when the weather is nice.

Excellent place Fish tacos were fantastic and the Coconut Cake was to die for.

We keep coming back because it's five star in every category. Highly recommend it.

Everything was perfect. Excellent food, great service, and thank you Doc for recommending the specials. I had potstickers to start and a wonderful seafood risotto. I'd give them more than 5 stars if I could.
