Bidrage med feedbackAll told a wonderful evening that combined: 1. an idyllic environment that looked over the river to the village of olargues helped by a rich full moon that dramatically rose above the hill. 2. very good food with French, Danish kitchen with great care and delicious aromas. 3. warm service, sensitive to the allergies of my wife. a real highlight of our visit, tres bon
Twice in 3 days says it all really. The garden on a sunny day is what everyone dreams of for a summer’s lunch in France. Perfectly shady with a spectacular view of the village and the Pont du Diable. The service is efficient and friendly...(in either English or French) and the food is truly exceptional. On the first visit we took the no-choice 3 course menu at 24 Euros. A cold pea soup; a chicken breast stuffed with apricots and a perfect lemon mousse – all delivering vastly more than these simple descriptions suggest. The 37 Euro menu the second time was a definite notch up. It carried a amuse-bouche of beetroot hummus (definitely an idea to copy, if I can Then a Danish-style (the chef is Danish) beetroot marinated salmon and much besides on rye bread – absolutely glorious, perhaps my dish of the year so far! Then cod with pea puree and mangetout – simple perfection. Then a panna cotta with strawberry compote that raised a familiar idea to unexpected heights. Oh and the home-made focaccia-like bread is almost worth the journey on its own. There are 3 options at each level on the 37 Euro menu so, even if they don’t change it quickly, I could very happily return very

Don’t miss the opportunity to eat at this place. The food is of high quality and very fine. The service is also very good. We certainly go back
