Phoenicia Gourmet - Ocean Springs

I used to eat at this restaurant all the time when my husband was stationed in Mississippi. We left the area eight years ago and I still daydream of the wonderful hummus, pita bread and chicken schwarma I used to order. So delicious! I wish we had found a similar place where we live now, but alas, that hasn?t happened. Great food, great service and great ambiance! I miss Phoenicias!

All I can say is I am obsessed with this restaurant. All of it! A friend took me there for lunch and I had the best food. I got the chicken shawarma (I think that?s how you spell it) and it comes with the most incredible rice pilaf type of rice and hummus. The thin slices of chicken were cooked to perfection. I can?t wait to take my boyfriend there so he can try it. I have a feeling we will be back often!!!! The service was above and beyond and the owner was such asweet man who goes around to the table and sweetly asks how your meal is. The servers were truly sweet and attentive. I absolutely love this place!

Every time I have eaten at this restaurant it has been great. Love the rice. I always buy extra to bring home for another meal.

We beat the early evening crowd to Phoenicia. Our waitress was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. My ribeye steak was excellent, and my wife also commented her coconut shrimp was very good. We were pleased with the atmosphere, service and food. A pleasant experience!
