Mike's Seafood Of Ocean City

Located near the south end of Ocean City, NJ, Mike's Seafood is an impressive, if pricey option for great fried food platters, sandwiches and other Jersey Shore favorites. I loved my Cole slaw, fish and chips and fried calamari. The parking is sparse, but the outdoor seating is clean and the service couldn't have been nicer.

Just had clam chowder and a soft shell crab sandwich with fries. Take out. Clam chowder was cold in the container. Like right out of the fridge cold. So that makes me think that it’s old and not made fresh. Plus the taste was meh. The crab sandwich was overly breaded and little taste. Also meh. The sandwich and fries were also on the colder side. I ordered from them because of their convenient location but should have listened to the recent negative reviews.

Steamed Clams were good, white chowder and Manhatten was watered down. Fried shrimp was a bit overcooked. A bit overpriced for what it was.

Labor Day weekend 2022…the worst…Mike’s is always hit or miss …but wow they hit a new low ..food was raw or just bad …there are so many good places to eat ..,, DO NOT GO TO MIKES ON 55 they are just bad

We were in town from South Florida and ended up finding this place by mistake, so glad we did. The seafood was fresh and delicious.
