Etive - Oban

We are at Etive last night. Undoubtedly one of the best meals I've ever had in Oban. David was such an excellent host and John was making magic in the kitchen. I was driving so David came up with an imaginative and delicious non alcoholic cocktail for me alongside my husband's negroni. The chicken liver parfait was so delicate and the squid and chorizo starter was delicious and just the right size. 2 rib eye steaks cooked exactly as we wanted them, fabulously crunchy chips and sweet ripe tomatoes in the salad. David's recommendations of wine to go with each course were spot on. What a wonderful evening, thank you.

If you haven't been yet go. Go NOW. If you have been go again! Wonderful food; lovely ambience, great service a special place, but not just for special occasions.

The best vegetarian food I've ever had definitely the best restaurant in Oban!
