Bake Sum - Oakland

Banana croissant was out of this world. Cold brew was strong and tasty.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon and although I was worried about the line, because the weather was slightly rainy, there was no line! I wish they had some kind of seating for me to have eaten it immediately but I ended up taking it home and reheating it and it was amazing! So crispy, buttery, and flavorful. I would definitely come back!

The baked goods here are so so good and made with love. the staff is incredibly friendly and the coffee is good. staff member Celadon always makes me smile in the morning!if you are gluten free they have mochi bites :)definitely give it a try!

Halo Halo Bun wow! a light flakey crispy bun filled with a halo halo flavored light purple custard with little bits of nata de coco, and on the top of the bun there's a little leche flan. I didn't think halo halo could become a pastry but it tasted so delicious! Exterior of the bakery is so cute, there are pink chairs outside. Service was quick since it's based on what they have available.
