Best mexican food in oak lawn, but attention to the owners: Please sell burrito bowls!!!

GOD D !!! Those steaks tacos are superb. The steak is TENDER, JUICY, FLAVORFUL and THEY FILL THE TACOS WITH LOTS OF MEAT!!! I stumble pass the restaurant on a rainy day and I’m glad that I did because man oh man it was soo good that I literally went back and order again on the same day! I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for well-seasoned and full plate of Mexican food!

I like the fact that they actually had a real Mexican kid menu, there are many places that just have Americanized kids menus. We got our kids the 1 taco rice and beans meal. My husband and I had the carnita dinner and the gisado dinner. Both were delicious and fairly priced and big portioned. We will be back again to try more things on the menu. I liked the variety of their menu, it's hard to find things in the burbs like this that actually taste good.

I was very excited to try Los Friends because a co worker told me about this spot and said that she had been here before. When I got my food I didn't check it before I left the restaurant and that was a big mistake. My chicken meat on my tacos were over cooked and the cilantro that I payed for was missing. I called and talked to a man who stated that he would replace my meal. I let him know that I would return the next day because my lunch was over and they closed before I got off. The man was nice and assured me that it would be fine. I returned the next day and even saved my food to return it. The lady working the register gave me a very hard time. She went as far as saying that she had to check the cameras to see if the cook put cilantro on my tacos because I could have took it off. I was basically a liar to her. I said ok please check the cameras but she said she couldn't because someone else had to be there in order for her to do so and to leave number.I ended up leaving without even getting a remake of my order. I felt horrible for the way that I was treated and would not return here nor advise anyone else to give them their business.

Place is okay , the lady at the counter seems to think she knows everything. And seems a bit snappy ! She must’ve mistaken me for someone, but asked me is it okay to charge extra with card because and I quote she said “ last time I had an attitude , when asked about card payments “ like what ?! First off Idc you never bring up what happened to someone “ last time “ I literally been to this place 2 times ! And it’s crazy wasn’t even the same month ! Definitely will never ever see me back just because of her ! Also paid 14 dollars for 3 tocos ! Definitely not worth it
