Les Saveurs d'El Medina - Nyon

This restaurant serves Marocain and Lebanese specialities.On this my 2nd visit I chose Lebanese again so I cannot comment on the Marocain dishes.The food was fantastic. There were 4 of us and each chose a different dish. Everyone was very satisfied. Didn't try any starters or deserts, just stuck to the mains.On my 1st visit a few years ago they didn't serve alcohol but now they have a small selection.The owner and his wife are very nice.Great place for a relaxing evening.

A nice restaurant in a quiet little street of nyon. Stewardship seems to be family: madam in the furnaces and sir in the service. Unfortunately, for a Friday night, it's not enough. While the restaurant had only 15 customers, we had to wait 40 minutes to receive our mezzy plates. Thankfully the wait was worth it, they were delicious! -:)I especially regret the attitude of the service. when, at the time of payment, it is politely pointed out that the dishes were very good, but the service "a little slow," we answer "it's because everything is fresh," on the tone of the reproach. Too bad. the right professional attitude would have been at least to apologize and recognize the problem. in a restaurant, serving freshly prepared dishes is not a valid excuse to justify 40 minutes of waiting between the order and the service. Conclusion: I would nevertheless recommend this restaurant for the quality of its dishes but be in no hurry!

We found this restaurant by chance, it is not very easy to find but we found the very friendly welcome and ate delicious royal couscous.

Nice restaurant located in downtown Nyon, offering both Lebanese and Moroccan cuisine. Been there for a dinner with a group of friends on weekday, we were the only customers in the placeThe ambiance is nice, service is good enough.Good food quality, with special mention for the hummus.

Every Friday these guys do a buffet type lunch and today I tried it for the first time. Absolutely sensational!!Terrific humus, babaganoush, salad. Delicious falafel. A vegetarian tajine with pumpkin, carrot. Another dish with fried onion and raisins, couscous and of course chicken for non-veggies. My mate had the chicken, said it was fantastic. All the mint tea and bread we wanted. CHF25 per person! Incredibly great value, great hosts, great atmosphere. Sadly, there weren't so many people there. We enjoyed the quiet but this place deserves much more custom. Give it a go, you'll not be disappointed.
