Kavos Grill - NYACK

Ordered food for takeout to celebrate my husband’s birthday. It was late in the day (7pm). Even then their food was fresh and delicious! The Moussaka was out of this world tasty, so was the chicken/rice dish and Greek salad. Great balance between salt and spices and everything was well made. Was going to pick up dessert from another place…glad I didn’t and in stead got the orange sponge cake, chocolate mouse and some lemon custard in a filo dough filling. My husband is rarely impressed with desserts but he loved this one!!! And the food! We all did.Glad we discovered this place. Compliments to the chef and please keep up the good work and remain consistent with the recipe because we will be back for more. ?

Horrible …online menu says a sandwich comes with fries…called to confirm and was hung up on. Horrible customer service. Food is nothing special. Definitely not worth the price. Would not order from here

Loved their chicken gyro fresh tzsaki Burgers enormous AND Delicious Lemon Fries always crisp and the service is exceptional!!

Great Greek restaurant with all you traditional meals prepared fresh. The grill platter for two was unbelievable. The Calamari, salads, spanakopita to die for. Friendly owner and the waitress was top notch! Will be coming back as a regular customer A+

The space is small and intimate. The food was brought out in Styrofoam trays and we were given plastic utensils (the thing is that I only use plastic utensils when I dine out, but I always have to ask for it. This time it was given to me, and that didn't sit well with me. I waited patiently for the food (fried whiting and shrimp about 20 min. The food was surprisingly really good. The owner was pleasant and attentive. If you are in the Nyack area and enjoy fried whiting and/or shrimp, stop by there and give it a shot. There are tables outside as well as inside.
