Bidrage med feedbackOk this is a tale of 4 meals. So we ordered takeout for 2...and just as we were getting to our door, the paper bag rips open, due to it getting wet from the juices in our container and our good smelling meal hits the floor . We call back but they don't honor the situation. We weren't staying close by, so now, we opted for delivery of the same meals. At last our meals arrive, we open the bag and the aluminum trays holding our meals were wrapped in Saran Wrap lol. After all this, my oxtails were delicious and my friend's salmon was good too...the only issue was the white rice it wasn't cooked enough and it was tons of it. I would go back again for the oxtails and hold my bag tight . Just fyi, sometimes people are telling the truth. If a person calls to tell you the bag ripped and when you don't replace the food for n/c (even when you said this never happens), you would have gotten 5 stars.
I should have walked out when I saw what the food looked like and that the restaurant was completely empty on a day where all the other restaurants on Main Street were full. I had an order of j chicken and curry goat. The goat was basically comprised of little pieces of fat and bone, hardly any meat at all. And the chicken was also very fatty and simply didn't taste very good. And all that cost $25. What a waste. In short: bad tasting and bad looking food, and a bad environment.
My experience with this franchise is half and half….the place was clean and the food was good but very pricey to what I normally pay at a Jamaican restaurant…the menu posted on the board doesn’t match up with the price of the food….the lady named Sarah sold me a small tin container of food that cost me 18.61 no cabbage or sweet plantains on the side just rice&peas and oxtails… she said she didn’t sale small just medium or large. The container she sold me was small… I ask her if they were going to change the option on the board to she said no…because it clearly says small on the board for like 14.00 which She sold me a small for 18.61…I told her it’s false advertisement and that they should make changes…will I come to this business again…probably not. Because I feel cheated.
My husband and I were in the mood for some really good authentic Jamaican food . This restaurant definitely hit the spot . We were happy that there was still open . They didn't have tbat many opitions left but we both decided to get the curry goat with rice and peas the only thing missing was the cabbage and was really hoping they had it but I guess it has sold out. We also grabbed Sorel drinks which was very very delicious a little bit to much ginger for me but overall very good. What I enjoyed about the Curry Goat was it was a great portion for a medium size and she also added enough gravy ontop for it to marinate in the sauce for longer. I also appreciated it not being salty as ever can be which was a plus all the flavors was all there and it tasted very very delicious. The prices for everything was very reasonable. They also have homemade icecream too but didn't get a chance to try it , next time I will. Other then that I definitely recommend checking this spot out ots definitely worth it and you'll enjoy eating some delicious Jamaican Food .
The food here is absolutely delicious. The place is well kept and the staff is amazing. This is my 3rd time coming here and I have never been disappointed. Diego and Onika are always welcoming.
