Anzio's Brick Oven Pizza - Northborough

This was a good restaurant to try. The pizza did not disappoint, and the garlic knots were top notch. Two things I didn't love about the experience: 1) very long wait for food (training someone in the kitchen), but thankfully I had good company to pass the time. 2) Getting charged $4 per seltzer water. Prices on food going up are the norm these days, but for water...and that much? It was my first time going in this restaurant, let me tell you it was the worst experience I’ve ever had, this woman was so rude with me, and I had to wait so long in order to get write down my order, when they brought it the woman was absolutely rude, and plus they took so long to give it to me, meanwhile i went to the bathroom and the bathroom was disgusting it was pretty dirty and I think I even saw a rat around knowing how disgusting it was. And my fiancé and I decided to leave we couldn’t be in a place like that, we paid and left and the food wasn’t even good.

Very nice experience. The pizza has a nice thin crust and the cheese was well flavored. Not too loud but we were there before 18:00. The asparagus appetizer was quite good but could have had a bit more sauce. Will return.

I am sorry we didn’t try this place sooner the food was excellent ! One of the best I’ve eaten at in the area. We had a margherita pizza and the Chicken Romano the pasta was cooked perfect chicken was delicious as was the sauce on both the pasta and pizza. Very high quality and service was great we will definitely be back.
