Dako's Taiyaki - North York

This is another fantastic place for taiyaki! They offer a variety of delicious treats and snacks. When I saw the mochi, I knew I had to get some to go along with the taiyaki. I arrived about 40 minutes before closing, so I was aware that not all items would be available. I tried the red bean filling in the taiyaki and a variety of mochi flavors including mango, mocha, cream, strawberry, and matcha. The taiyaki was good, but I should have come earlier for a fresher experience. The overall quality of the food was good.

I tried taiyaki for the first time and I'm glad I finally did. I bought the custard and chocolate versions which were delicious with perfect sweetness. I was disappointed that the red bean flavor was sold out, but I will definitely try it next time. I have no regrets stopping by this place.

The taiyaki at this restaurant is absolutely delicious. Whenever I am craving it in the city, this is my go-to spot. They offer three flavors: custard, red bean, and chocolate. The customer service is exceptional, with the staff going out of their way to ensure customer satisfaction.

Tried this place on a Saturday and we brought a crowd with us ; Great place for a snack and/or light lunch. Taiyaki with chicken sausage and cheese pumpkin tea (combo 3 : The Taiyaki has good, balanced flavours. It has the right amount of sweetness and paired with Halal chicken sausage and cheese makes a delicious combination. I tried something new by ordering the pumpkin tea. It has an earthy, natural and light taste but rich in flavour. I like pumpkin and understand

Happened to just walk by and the staff flagged us down eager to explain. Thank heavens he did because I hadn't tried these yummy fishies before. I got the custard and red bean ones. My BF and I agreed that the red bean one was the best but I liked the custard too. The fish was crunchy and SOOO delish. So many options, gluten free, vegan etc. I will be back!
