Bidrage med feedbackI really enjoy the diverse selection of dishes offered at this restaurant. I have visited more than 5 times and would recommend it to anyone. Don't let the photos deter you from trying it out.
I would rate the food 3.5 out of 5 and the service 4 out of 5. We shared a combination meat platter for 2.
The food receives 4 stars, the location receives 3 stars, and parking receives 2 stars in this restaurant review.
This was my first visit to the Armenian Kitchen after it was recommended to me by another foodie. I was unable to stay to dine in for lunch but rather I ordered takeout to enjoy with my family. I was very pleased with how kind and driendly the staff are at this establishment. The hostess/waitress was happy to offer me a take out menu and explain some of the dishes to me. I wanted to make some substitutions to some of their plates and this was absolutely no problem. They were happy to accommodate my needs. In the end I ordered a chicken shawarma sandwich, chicken shawarma plate with fatouche salad, chicken shish kebab plate, an order of baba ghanouj, and mhalabia for dessert. All of the food was very fresh and delicious. Because I was driving home (about 30 mins) all of my dishes were wrapped separately in order to stay fresh upon my arrival. This was especially important for the Fatouche salad so that the pita chips were not soggy. I was very impressed with my first visit here. I am going to take my family back to dine in as the service seems top notch here. And lets not forget that the food was extremely fresh and tasty!! I couldn't ask for more from a restaurant! Well done Aremenian Kitchen!!!
Armenian Kitchen was rated online, so we decided to try it out. I'm Middle Eastern and love that food. When I walked in, I was a bit disheartened - it may have been nicer in its hey-day - but it was looking a bit tired. However, it was clean. We ordered a few appetizers - hummus, lebane, falafal, fatouche, and some shawarma. The bread was nice and warm. The hummus was wonderful - creamy, well-spiced and tasty. The lebane had good consistency, but was sooo bland. No sour taste, no salt. The Falafal with tahini was delicious. The fatouche was crispt, but again, needed spicing. Where was the sumac, the salt, the lemon juice? The Shawarma was not well-spiced and was so greasy - it didn't taste as if it was just carved - it felt like it was refried on the stove. We had to ask for water about 4 times and same with coffee. We gave up on the refill of coffee and waited forever for the bill. There were 2 servers, but there were only 3 tables filled. I would definitely not come back here. The food wasn't anywhere the previous reviews. It was disappointing.
