Chinese Dumpling House

This hole in the wall place is amazing. We were walking by and decided to stop for some dumplings. Grandma is making the dumplings fresh per order right in front of you. The Szechuan hot and spicy wonton soup is 5 star! Definitely authentic as it gets!

Chinese Dumpling House is the only spot to get dumplings in the Annex as far as I know. The prices are good $10 for a meal), the dumplings are reasonably fresh, and the selection is great. I haven't tried anything but the dumplings here, save for a few appetizers smashed cucumbers, string beans, etc), which tasted fine. You can get dumplings steamed or fried. The service here isn't the greatest. Often, you will have to ask for something a few times before you get it. However, the restaurant is clean and I've yet to encounter a wait for a table. Good place for a casual lunch or dinner.

UNDER NEW MGMT they put up a terrible new sign, maybe dumplings are similar... but, their best item KUNG PAO CHICKEN is gone..... the new version is average. Blessing in disguise, one of my favourite meals, also hands down the unhealthiest. Now I don't have to beat myself up for eating it ever again! RIP

The food was good, but the service wasn 't. They didn 't have anywhere outside of the restaurant or inside the restaurant the sign 'cash only ' and the waitress didn 't warn us as well, so when it came to paying the bill and we heard cash only it was an unpleasant discovery. My friend didn 't have any cash at all and my cash was enough right to pay the bill for both of us but no tip. I think it is a bad service because what if we had no cash at all. I would say if you like dumpling and don 't care about the service because it is close to none, it is a good place to go but if besides tasty dish you are looking for the experience, this is not the place. Would I come back, probably no as nowadays there are so many good places to go!
