Cafe Orso - North Vancouver

Lovely brunch and coffee stop on our trip to Deep Cove. The cafe has a relaxed vibe and the staff are very friendly. The food was fresh and well presented the avocado on toast was one of the best I’ve ever had (and I’ve eaten a lot avo on toast over the years). Waffles were beautifully presented and the portion size was very generous. We would definitely come back if we’re ever at Deep Cove again.

I used to live nearby so got to go here regularly when they first opened, and loved it. Since moving away, I've missed this place! These are new owners so I was curious if it would be just as good. Happy to report, nothing has changed and everything was great! We had liege waffles with strawberries and avocado toast. Everything was delicious and delivered with a smile. Also, for Deep Cove this place is very reasonable. There's no outdoor seating like the places closer to the water, which was fine with us... on a hot day, we enjoyed the AC. We were 3 people and light breakfast with coffee/teas was about $40 including tip. It's a relaxing space and you do not feel rushed. I look forward to coming here again on my next visit back to my old hood.

We had lunch here after kayaking in a deep cove. The avocado toast was amazing! Also great soups and homemade bread. It was a little tricky to get parking on the street in front of the cafe. If you see a spot take it quickly

Went for lunch yesterday sooo delicious I had tomato melt and a regular coffee my boys ordered avocado toast which had half an avocado on each piece of toast. The bread is so good. We also ordered waffles with banana whipping cream and a homemade jam on the side. The staff are young and really seem to enjoy their job super helpful offered bigger glass for water and extra whipping cream for waffles were taking home with us. I would recommend this for breakfast and lunch

Went in on a rainy day with some friends and had their tomato soup and ploughmans sandwich and We were very impressed! Do yourself a favour and try this for lunch or dinner! I never expected to fall in love with the Jam they use on the sandwich but wow! Ambiance is very nice and modern and the staff was very polite and thankful for our business!
