Elf's Den - North Pole

American hub style with good food and service! Recommend this restaurant. In a storm, we wouldn't have expected that we could have such delicious food in North Pole. I ordered a shrimp pasta and it tasted good. My friend ordered something with Halibut. Kenny was a charming person who was full of history.

I tried last week and we're back a week later, both impressed! Food is great, slightly higher at prices, but quite typical of Fairbanks/Nordpoles. Service was both great times, waiting staff is friendly and efficient. The menu has a good variety. Calzone is HUGE. The interior is simply furnished, but it is bright and feels clean and fresh. This could just become a regular dinner spot for us!

The people who rated 1 stars must get rid of their horse. This place screams rural Alaska. It is old and dated, but the food is good and the staff was very friendly. The rustic feeling on a snowy day is great. If you want Applebees, go to the Anchorage. The Chicken Cordon Bleu is really good.

Prime Rib was good, really good. Salad was simply green with cucumbers. Baked potatoes were made right. Kids Chicken Stripes appeared hand made and delicious. Garlic bread was good with real garlic on bread. Overall a good experience. The party next to us had a pizza that looked incredible.

Went for dinner last week and it was a surprisingly cozy environment! Ordered calzones and they are massive!! Definitely coming back
