New Joy - North East Lincolnshire

I ordered a takeaway after using these in the past for starters and mains which were historically nice . I’m not sure if they’ve changed owners as it was awful . Firstly they missed the rice and sweet and sour sauce ordered for the chicken balls. When I called they only offered to knock the price off the next order. Wouldn’t send sauce and rice out with a re delivery . On tasting the chicken in the red Thai curry was fatty and undercooked looks like they’ve chucked all the bad bits in with the sauce and cooked it , also didn’t even taste like red Thai curry and just consisted of an overload of onions and tomatoes . Chucked it in the bin where it belongs . Definately will never use again … disappointed is an understatement.

We had bbq spare ribs, prawn toast, spring rolls and special chow mein, it was all lovely , tasted fresh and was nice and hot with plenty of taste to it. service was good and polite, the place was clean, we placed the order on their website and was very straight forward and the food was ready when it said it would be, we was very happy with our meal!

Absolutely gourgeous food, recently moved into area leaving a good Chinese takeaway, New Joy is even better than the one we left.

Awful food made me and my partner really ill. Had really bad belly ache and was violently sick. It’s actually put us off Chinese in general.
