Not a lot of hot food to choose from, sandwiches, tray bakes and scones, tea coffee and hot chocolate, which are not too pricey,
I had a great experience at the cafe where I enjoyed coffee and a snack. The cappuccinos were delicious. Afterwards, I went to the supermarket to do some shopping. I noticed they had new, large trolleys that were surprisingly easy to maneuver after a few aisles. However, I saw a petite woman struggling to reach down to retrieve her groceries from the trolley. I also observed a few people bringing Homebase trolleys across. While I was able to manage with the large trolley, I found it to be too big for my liking. The basket option was too small for my needs. I plan to look around next time to see if there are any normal-sized trolley options available.
I visited Sainsbury's for a few last-minute food items and decided to make a much-needed coffee stop. The service was good, and my coffee was delivered extra hot as requested in a large beaker, which kept the heat better than a regular cup. I also chose a cinnamon swirl and apple lattice pastry, both of which were delicious. I would definitely return as it was good value for the quality of food and service.
My mother was asked to fill in her contact details to have a cup of coffee in one of your coffee shops in Northern Ireland. This is unacceptable. She is not well and was upset when she returned home. SHAME ON YOU, @sainsburys
