Golden Wok In Aust - North Browning

This was my favorite Chinese Restaurant in Austin. Unfortunately it has closed, but the family still owns a location in San Antonio that I hear is just as good. If I am ever down that way, I will be sure to visit.

Just stopped by fos dim sum this place is now permanently closed. So sad ;

We have eaten there a few times, and had take out... I 'm not usually a big Chinese food fan- but my husband is, and now I am a fan of Golden Wok! We Love the Basil Chicken, Sesame Chicken and the Orange Peel Beef! The soups and rice are good. If you eat in they have a mongolian grill style buffet, where you can pick your stir fry. The servers have always been nice and informative. We order from Golden Wok a couple times a month, they always do a great job!

Super fast delivery times! I normally get beef and broccoli or general pso's chicken. The crab puffs are an awesome appetizer for sure!

The place was super dead slow the service should have been amazing but instead it was terrible. The reviews said the food was good but apparently nothing is good except the dim sum. When i asked to speak to the manager I was antagonized and belittled by the owner that did not know that I had already spoken with the mananger. The manager is an early twenties year old girl and the Owner is a well into aged woman, the owner raised her voice and accused us of not speaking up about the terrible service, terrible food, and dirty restaurant. Regardless no owner of an establishment should yell and beliitle their customer 's. I never leave bad reviews because I know what its like to have multiple people o ly tell about bad experiances but this was ridiculous. I hope this place gets shutdown soon. I am so angry about how my friend and I were treated it is truly ridiculous.
