Mr. Shawarma - Norfolk

I can not stress enough how exception this restaurant is. The service is stellar! The meat is actual slow cooked meat- not mechanically separated and fused together meat by product. The veggies and sides are well fresh, and well prepared. Followed by the reasonable price point? An absolute gem in the city.

Worst tasting chicken gyro and Falafel- No authenticity here of mediterranean part: The works apparently includes soggy Fries inside wrap not as a side, cabbage, eggplant, fries, onions and tomatoes in each with garlic sauce and green sauce chutney) and there is no taste left of what I ordered : Falafel or chicken meat. Not sure why the main thing is smallest quantity in the wraps but there it was. It?s more chicken wrap with veggies Under American fare

My falafel was prepared just right, soft inside, not dry and hard. Everything tasted fresh and was seasoned just right. I was very pleased and full in a healthy way. We had some first timers in our lunch bunch and they fell in love with the food.

This is one of my favorite spots in Norfork hands down, love getting their stuffed pita, it's like an Indian subway you have them make your pita or bowl the way you like it with. Plethora of ingredients and sauces. Absolutely delicious!
