Bidrage med feedbackIt is such a relief to have an alternative to Tim Hortons or Starbucks for coffee at the airport.
Had a good variety of choices for vegetarian people too. The food is tasty, for a fast food. Definitely worth a stop over for lunch at the airport.
My partner and I stopped by Caffe Sorrentino at YEG for breakfast while waiting in between flights. I have to say, this place was a wonderful find and a nice change of place from your standard airport food offerings. I had the grilled ham and cheese, which was nothing short of exquisite! The bread featured beautiful grill-marks; the cheese perfectly melted and a very good bread-cheese-ham ratio. In short, this place really hit the spot and I can guarantee we will be back again when passing through YEG!
I ate a breakfast sandwich and a bottle of coke first thing after I came through security at the Edmonton Airport. The sandwich was called the Buongiorno, which consists of egg, pancetta (italian bacon) arugula, cheddar and pesto mayo on a flat bread. This sandwich is so good and pop is pop so no need to say about that. The employees that morning were 2 phillipinos, a guy and a girl, they were friendly when I first walked up the lady took my order and the guy made my sandwich and she gave me the pop and I paid...i received the food in less then 5 minutes.I later took a few pics of the place and they asked where I was from and I told them from Edmonton and that I'm going on a vacation to Italy and that I take pics of my food that I eat amongst other stuff.Overall, I will give a 5 for food A 5 for friendly service A 5 for nice atmosphere
Tasty and nutritious for fast food. Very pleasant staff. My sandwich was sparsely filled grilled eggplant on very good whole grain bread.
