La Roustide - Nice

Good surprise how a friend introduces us this little place. Small of size, but great of quality when eating, it is creativity and presentation, but also of the professionalism of service. Attention and not intrusive, good wine recommandations and much...if small attentions to the guests Réel well visited. A great half-gastro local restaurant to recommand.

La Roustide was worth the short walk from Old Town and delivered a solid experience. As other reviewers have mentioned, there are set menus (3 course and 5 course) with truffle enhanced dishes, but I went with ordering a la carte as some of those...options appealed more. The razor clam with pear and fennel starter was refreshing and tasty, and I also enjoyed the veal ballotine stuffed with chestnuts. The truffle risotto was the highlight of the meal with consistency and flavor to complement the truffle shavings. If you are looking for something a bit different to traditional Nicoise specialities, La Roustide is an excellent choice!

Products are very nice quality Presentation is pleasant and the people very polite I would 100% recommend this place to a special occasion with friends or family... or just because you are a truffle lover. Ps : the risotto and meat are excellent

We wanted to eat French food away from the crowds in the Old Town this was exactly what we got. Closest tram stop is Acropolis and then a short walk, so easy to find. Quality of food and wine was great, the restaurant has...a great buzz about it and was quite busy, so sensible to book. Elegant space, friendly service and everything explained when our French failed us.

You want to eat? and don't hesitate to come to the crust the service is irreproachable. The quality on the plate is at the rendezvous. I come regularly and it's always a real pleasure.
