Yukiguni Japanese Restaurant

The dining experience at this restaurant is truly authentic and the establishment is clean. The portion sizes may be smaller compared to standard Western food, but they are perfect for a Japanese menu. The wasabi is fresh and not overpowering, which adds a nice touch. The tempura is a highlight for me. However, the California rolls were a bit small and loosely made.

I visited this restaurant after making reservations through Google's chat feature. The response was prompt and very accommodating. The atmosphere was pleasant and friendly. The restaurant was only about half full, making it easy to secure a table. The servers were cheerful and pleasant. Our food was served quickly and was delicious. The prices were very reasonable, especially for a tourist location like Niagara Falls. Parking was free and conveniently located next to the restaurant. I would definitely eat here again!

The sign outside said: “influencable Japanese eating made by Japanese cook”. I thought exciting! When I came home, the salmon on my salmon sushi had the silver pieces on it. it should have been cut away and the salmon was not deep pink. a poor laugh. the rolls were small! we told the waiter that my wife was vegetarian and I wasn't, and they all put sushi together in a container. my wife spent the evening (it was taken) the fishroge removed from her set vegetarian sushi. they gave us finer, but did not give us washabi and they did not send soy sauce! Their tempura sauce seemed water down. there was no taste for it at all! for the bear I would have paid, I would have expected more. it was a disappointing dinner.

Excellent dinner. The fish was so fresh and presented with care. Friendly service. So much better than all you can eat where items are mass produced. The real deal. A very short walk from our falls view hotel. A pleasure to support a locally owned...restaurant. Highly recommended.
