Bidrage med feedbackI was excited to eat here; many years since I've eaten in a Ruby nest. I understand and get it that the service industry was hit hard by covid and then all kinds of job problems. I have no problem waiting for the service and having a little more patient in this time. this was the end of a 5-week trip around Canada/Alaska and by far the worst service and experience we have received. the level of management and hospitality was appalling. we were a family of 4 restaurants here. 3 from the 4 ordered the same plate. Unfortunately, each of these dishes was bad (sour/old/stale coleslaw.) ok, sometimes the food that is served is not quite normal or there was a problem from their food provider no problem, send it back and get a replacement. when we called about the waitress to let her know that there was a problem she offered us other alternatives. there were no tons of other herbal options and the dish was already served with fries, so baked kartoffels, kartoffels etc. were not really an option. 2 of the 4 decided for the suppe and 1 selected for mais. in the provision of this alternative, no discussion was mentioned about a premium price for these pages. After the suppe was served, the waitress came by and let us know that there was a charge for the replacement pages she had forgotten to mention. now there is really no excuse, not for covid, not for underoccupied people, for providing bad food and then for paying extra. it is industry standard that if something is wrong, they try for it, even if there is only one dollar or two more. we asked them to check with the manager as we have never received this type of answer or service. the poor waitress came back, weeping, let's know that her manager just yelled at her, because she didn't tell us before the nase, that there is a precharge and that the manager said that she would meet us halfway and invite us only for one of these suppers. (Note to the waitress when she reads this, I hope that they are looking for another job, one where the manager is supportive and not screaming her personal.) Of course, when we talked to the manager, she was obstinat and demonstrates zero customer service or repent for bad eating. they noted that they had served us bigger than normal suppening to choose the bad food (noting that we did not ask for the bigger size) and that we had to pay. P.S this is package bought suppe that if it is not served on this day or the next, it will be thrown out anyway. she has accused her of setting up and billing for the things at her chef and that the chef has come to her to make sure that she will pay for everything. now to manager and chef I hope they are able to correct their behavior and attitudes. we were thrilled to eat here and the 3 of the 4 were really looking forward to their cole Slav, but we should have known that something was up when all the others were in this far more busy than they were. I wish I also looked at these reviews before I visited this place. we would not have wasted our time.
I visited the area niagara if on the end of August/Early september 2022. we visited this ruby Tuesday after a stressful arrival. we visited the opposite quite late; it could have been after 22 o'clock. we decided to take the roof terrace, which was quite cool. we decided to get closer inside and it was a little better. our waiter was really friendly I don't remember his names. when our drinks came and we tasted them, I came to realize that we were no longer in the usa. our drinks had natural taste, which was different, but it was good. eating on the other side was not good that we didn't even finish it. No one has finished her eating or liked her. we were tired and wanted to sleep, so we immediately requested the leak. the only reason we have taken it is because we handed over some homeless and decided to give it to them instead of wasting it. the prices here are really expensive, it seemed like everyone started at $30.00 our bill over $100 for the 3 of us. I am not sure whether I would return to restaurant due to the prices and eating not well. but this location is a beautiful view of clifton hills. I gave 2 starts because the staff was very polite and friendly.
Eating was over cooked and over price waited an hour for our dinner could not even finish it because it was hard to chew. the waiter was very nice, friendly and understanding he apologized for the incompetence of the kitchen staff. the drinks and coffees were okay. this drink is called a Ruby relaxer that tastes fruity and is made with wodka.
Our Waitress was great. Sorry, forgot her name. Friendly and efficient.Prices for Niagara Falls are a bit excessive however they had $15.99 Lunch Specials which were pretty good value.Washrooms could use a little attention. And would be nice to have paper towels as opposed to just an old style air blower.
I came here with my family after walking around all morning being a tourist in the area. This was on a Monday at 12pm so we expected it to be busy but it wasn't that busy. We were seated promptly and the staff was great! We got our drinks and food at an efficient time. The staff were excellent and took care of all our needs. One thing I would suggest is having a cleaner bathroom.
