Nestled on King Street with a wine barrel marking its entrance and warm golden light glowing from inside, Mama Rosy's is a lively Italian restaurant operated by a close-knit team of Sicilian descent.
Its tracks. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff add to the charm of this hidden gem. The menu offers a delightful variety of dishes, each bursting with flavor. Don't let its size fool you, this restaurant packs a big punch when it comes to taste. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
Great authentic Italian food with very friendly staff. We enjoyed your favorite dish of cold cuts and cheese, mamma mia pizza, gnocchi and shrimp with truffle oil pasta (practically everything). Grief However, the staff recommended us to increase our order more than our group could consume. Since the crowd is good for all dishes, stay on what you feel is a sensible quantity before ordering more.
This restaurant is located in King Street. There is a seating area at the front of the restaurant and more seating in the courtyard. It was not so bad to sit outside as they had the heatamps. The service is pretty friendly and always at hand. Grief We started with prosciutto e Burrata. There was certainly a lot of food. The prosciutto was ok, but could have been slammed thinly slices to taste. The Burrata was nice and creamy. Grief Grief The Gnocchi Quattro-Formaggi-Sparagi E Tartufo Nero had Gnocchi, who had a very soft texture. Tested with waiter to see if it was so it should be like it, and he confirmed that it was. Guess better than rubber balls. The sauce had a decent cheesy taste. The Scaloppina di pollo with Porcini was a massive chicken plate, so you would definitely not go hungry, but the sauce was a bit hard. Grief Grief Overall, you will not go hungry in this restaurant, but a TAD in the direction of quantity on quality.
