Bidrage med feedbackWent to eat dinner with my family on the weekend. We sat on the patio since their was good weather. I would recommend sitting in the patio if you have a chance as the atmosphere and vibe was really nice. Food and service was both pretty good despite itbeing a busy Sunday.
Went on a very busy Sat night. Service was good, zucchini noodle dish with tomato and shrimp was delicious and a wonderful healthy option. I was VERY disappointed in the appetizer grilled calamari portion. Yes it 's an appetizer but this wasridiculously small...I will not order again sadly even though it was tasty...it was not worth the $15 they charge. I let serverknow and she told me it 's always been that size ...not really a satisfactory answer. So for other newbies, be aware it 's abouta 5 bite app.
The meal was fine but pretty pricey, especially for pizza. Plus for the prices on the menu, they don't even offer free bread for the table while you wait. They wanted $6.75 for focaccia bread! What? Sticking to Orsini's.
Gross!!! People spend alot of money here.Joia on Main in Newmarket, at 497 Timothy St., was charged Sept. 26 for storing potentially hazardous foods at an internal temperature between 4°C and 60°C, according to the report for inspections made Sept. 25 to Oct. 1 by York Region Community and Health Services, health protection division. The charge stems from a re-inspection after inspectors noted during an initial inspection on Sept. 20 that the establishment failed to store and maintain potentially hazardous food at an internal temperature 4°C (40°F) and lower; failed to store and maintain potentially hazardous food at an internal temperature at 60°C (140°F) and higher; failed to adjust or repair a malfunctioning cooler; and failed to ensure presence of certified food handler or supervisor during all hours of operation.Food handler education was carried out after the initial inspection, with a re-inspection held Sept. 25. During the re-inspection, inspectors once again flagged the restaurant for the same issues regarding storing food at safe temperatures and having a certified food handler or supervisor during all hours of operation.During a second re-inspection the next day, the restaurant was charged by inspectors for storing potentially hazardous foods at internal temperature between 4°C and 60°C. Food handler education was once again carried out.
First time at this restaurant today, gave this place a shot regardless of some poor reviews. However, poor service overall. The waitress that served us had a rude demeanour throughout our entire meal. Perhaps the owner should treat their staff better bc she was not happy to work or better professionalism from staff. Food was ok, nothing special. Spent $120 here, probably won’t go back.
