The Ironmarket - NEWCASTLE-UNDER-LYME

I visited this charming pub/coffee house on Ironmarket for lunch. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the menu offered a nice balance of traditional options like burgers and breakfast dishes, as well as some unique choices like a Moroccan chicken flatbread and a halloumi and hummus wrap. I ordered an americano coffee and the halloumi wrap, which was made with fresh, strong coffee and delicious halloumi cheese paired with pomegranate, lemon, and coriander flavors in the hummus. The ruby slaw with dill and cilantro added a tasty touch. At a price of £8.50 for everything, it was also a great value.

My boyfriend and I are regulars at Cappello. They offer delicious vegetarian options, and I especially enjoy their halloumi. We appreciate the cozy ambiance with candles in the evening. We enjoy playing the board games they have available. During our last visit, my boyfriend won at Scrabble, but I was the champion of Guess Who? Cappello excels in coffee as well. The only downside is that some items are pricey and the lighting could be improved.

Some great choices on the menu with some really amazing brunches. The place is eclectic and interesting. Lovely friendly too!

The service was lacking during our visit to the restaurant. We had heard good things but unfortunately, they did not live up to our expectations. Disappointing.
