Dear Mama Coffee West Harlem - New York

I visited Dear Mama today and everything was great, the overnight oats tasted amazing, I was studying until they raised the volume of the music and I needed to leave because it was very annoying. I would like to support small businesses but it seems like this one doesn’t care about their visitors. Additionally, I read the other reviews on here and I noticed I’m not the only person complaining about the loud music, and they are aware of it but they still chose to ignore their customer’s wants and needs.

The sunny and airy ambiance the delicious drinks and food are great! Would give a 5 star, but the music they play here is always so loud, it doesn't help either when it's hard rock. I would come here more often to work or chill if the music was at a lower volume, but it seems the music volume will stay as is based on previous reviews I've seen.

Coffee is great, my favorite place to buy beans after trying several other roasters. Consistently delicious coffee. The location is filled with light and is so lively and clean.

Dear Mama is a wonderful coffee shop that has been open for a couple of years now on the newly built campus of Columbia University. The moment you step inside, you are greeted by a spacious and inviting atmosphere, with plenty of greenery all around. During the summer, the outdoor seating area is an absolute delight, providing a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the more crowded area of the city.Whether you're meeting up with friends, working/studying, or simply looking for a serene spot to relax and read, Dear Mama is the perfect place. In the evenings, the coffee shop occasionally hosts live music performances, which can make for a truly special date experience.For coffee aficionados, Dear Mama is a must-visit. Their Americano is particularly noteworthy, offering a rich and smooth flavor that is sure to satisfy even the most discerning of palates.

One of my favorite places in UWS… close to campus (Columbia) but feels as if you are somewhere else completely. It is definitely my getaway place. Great vibes and amazing ambiance. On top of all that, the food is delicious and the coffee is even better. They made my day the first day I went in and asked if they had lavender (for a lavender latte)! I am a frequent customer here and I love it!!!
