Food: food is average and nothing special, but highly over-priced. One particular dish tasting good is the grilled Wagyu, with a special dipping sauce served. However, its price is $45, but only serves 8 small slices.Service: The service of this restaurant is the worst one I have ever seen. I encountered a notably rude and impatient waiter. Talking about the dipping sauce, I was particularly taken aback when, upon returning from a restroom break, I found my sauce was removed. Given the light flavor of their Sukiyaki, I wondered whether I could have my sauce back, and he rudely said, You got any problem?! . Further interactions continued in this vein when I requested tissue. He didn 't even look at me, but just grabbed it to me and left in a rush. Besides, dessert was delivered with a lack of consideration. We weren 't given a choice in ice cream flavors as the other customers were; they simply decided for us. I want to rate a 0 score if that 's an option.Atmosphere: The setting of this restaurant did not provide a comfortable dining experience. The place we dined was a dimly lit and cramped basement. It felt incongruous with the high pricing of the food and did not deliver the expected ambiance for the cost.

I recently visited this restaurant with high hopes but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory due to the incredibly poor service I encountered. The behavior of the servers was nothing short of rude. Even though it was only around 9 pm, a reasonable hour for dining, the staff started whisking away our plates while we were still in the process of enjoying our meal. Even after we reminded the servers several times, they insisted on doing so. Moreover, when my party requested a table switch to indoor dining, no one attended to our request. These impolite acts made us feel rushed and unrespected.Overall, the food is 4/5, while I would rate the service 1/5.

Authentic Japanese cuisine served up by helpful and attentive staff. We were novices to Sukiyaki but the servers made sure we were well taken care of and guided us along. This is a place to share food, a place to have a slow meal, a place to have great food.
