Bidrage med feedbackThe restaurant did not honor our reservation and had a lively brunch event starting at 1:00. They initially claimed we did not have a reservation for 4:30 until I reminded them that we had scheduled through OpenTable.
This place is great! eating is delicious and they cook it really good;
I would definitely visit again. the place was noisy when a woman sang the bachata merengue live. our waitress was very nice. they got our pastolito removers wrong, but they were still good. my vistec encebollado was in order, not too tasty, but the salmon of my manne was delicious. it had a chinola sauce about it. the bun of my daughter filled with maduros and cheese was even better! you want to come back to get this dish especially. the place is simple and quite spacious. oh and my mojito was great! on the stronger side.
This was my first experience in Raices, we were a party of 6 celebrating my mother’s birthday; I must say the food was amazing, the live band sounded great, and the restaurant is small but very cute. My only negative feedback would be that we all found our waiter to be extremely dry and not well informed of the ingredients in a lot of the dishes (a few in the party have dietary restrictions) and I was disappointed that even though I called numerous times to confirm and spoke with both Eda and Pedro in order to set up birthday balloons before arrival and was told this would be arranged for a $20 dollar fee there were no balloons or mention of them when we got there. All in all we made the best of the occasion and I may be back to try their happy hour if in the area.
The frozen margaritas were amazing and the staff were very friendly. The food was ok
