Mama Sushi - New York

Had dinner and drinks with friends. The food was delicious, as usual. The birthday gong was a bit loud for my liking though.

Excellent restaurant with option to stay in or outside of the property. In my case I stayed outside and the service was outstanding.

Service was slower than usual. Was pre celebrating my wife’s birthday, the restaurant seem slower than usual since it was a weekday. But our server was pretty slow, we order our usual mojito pitcher but it tasted mostly just like juice and club soda. We also ordered dessert but it took like 20 minutes or more to get to us and of course the ice cream was all melted who knows how long it was sitting. The NY strip steaks were great and the house rolls tasty as always. Wish we had a better experience since it’s one of our favorite dining spots.

I drove an hour and a half because I love their chicharrone and they took it off the menu. Very sad about that. Overall the food was great.
