We tried Lazy Sundaes for the first time at Canal Street Market. I had to try this place because their cat logo is the cutest boba logo I've ever seen maybe not the best reason to try a place but who doesn't love a cute logo on their cup?? . It's a large indoor space with various food stops and pop up stores. There are about 5 bar stool seats available across from them. The service is relatively fast and you can place your order at the ordering screen or at the register. We ordered the Passion Fruit Jasmine Punch with lychee jelly and a Strawberry Matcha Latte with oat milk and boba. The Strawberry Matcha Latte features a quality, organic matcha and a sweet strawberry puree. We opted to use Oatly oat milk and there was no upcharge only upcharge is for pistachio milk . There are no sweetness adjustments available for this drink so it was a little bit sweet for my preference but overall delicious and balanced flavor. Would order again. The Passion Fruit Jasmine punch was refreshing but also does not allow for sweetness adjustments. This one is definitely very sweet I'm sure the lychee jelly didn't help . Probably would not order again. Leaning more toward a 4.5 5 with some of the lack of flexibility in sweetness adjustments, but giving a 5 5 because the overall flavor, quality, and aesthetic is all there.
Lazy Sundaes is one of my favorite boba shops in NYC. Their boba is the perfect chewiness and sweetness. You can tell they use really good quality tea in their drinks! Aside from that, I absolutely love that they offer dairy alternatives like oat milk and more uniquely pistachio milk. The one thing I'd say is not so great is that their toppings do tend to be on the more expensive side. For tapioca, you have to pay an additional 75 cents which is quite a steep price just for a topping. My go to drinks are their matcha latte with boba. You can tell they use really good quality matcha by the color of the drink and also by the taste. Another favorite is the hojicha latte. While their drinks do cost a bit more than other bubble tea chains, I'd say it's worth it for the quality of the drink.
This was in the same hall as the rice rolls, so it was super convenient. I got the white peach tea and it was super refreshing! 50 sweetness is perfect. Also, super cute mascot and decor! I’d love to try their sundaes next time :
I stopped by to try their drinks as i love bubble tea. I was surprised at the size of the cups but the tea itself wasn't bad. It was a little on the tart and less on the sweet side. There wasnt a line when i entered but once i started to order on their machine a long line started to form. They do have an option to order online to make sure the line doesn't get long. After i ordered i didnt wait long but inwas surprised at the size of the drink. Since there wasn't an option to select the drink size; it is smaller than i would have like and for the price I dont know if to me it is worth but i know some places have their own special blends so i get why it might not give you many options to customize. Overall the experience wasn't bad but it is worth a try if you're nearby.
