We were fortunate to find this charming restaurant following a late evening event at nearby Hunter College. As a table of ten, they took wonderful care of us. Sebastiano, who took our reservation and Jesus, our server, were both exceptionally attentive and friendly. Everyone raved about how delicious their food was and my dinner was scrumptious as well. I would highly recommend this gem. Thank you, Altesi, for a memorable evening!

Very nice group luncheon with custom menu: choice of salmon grilled on a bed of lentils, or a pasta with meat sauce or delicious chicken breast. A few vegetarian options. Good service, big wine list, very nice back garden outside a pretty indoor cafe.

Super food and met the owner I think at the entrance and he greeted most of his customers individually what a great personal touch , outstanding place and service was excellent a must visit in New York

I went to Altesi for lunch and it was delicious! I ordered the beef carpaccio for an appetizer which came out almost instantly. For my entre, I ordered the veal which was amazing. It was served with these mashed potatoes that were cooked with onion, string beans, and other ingredients that made them delicious. The melted mozzarella flavor complemented the veal perfectly. We randomly found this resturant around Central Park and let me just say, 10/10. The service, food, wine, and atmosphere was AMAZING. Please do yourself a favor and order the fettuccine with scallops and a bottle of the Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc. Oh and don?t forget the raspberry ice cream dessert.
