Pizza Mia - New Windsor

Sadly this review needs to be written. I used to really like this place but lately the pizza has been way to inconsistent. Generally I'd only go the days the manager was working because he made a good pie. Seems like their new vegan food venture is taking away the focus on other things. I went to put parm cheese on my slice, and literally every single shaker had little flys/nats in it which was the final straw.

Came by here for a to go dinner, a worker immediately took my order which was a meatball sub and a rice ball. the wait was not too long and I was thanked for my order. the meatball sub was very good, plenty of melty gooey mozzarella cheese, not drowned in sauce, meatballs were moist and tender. might be my favorite meatball sub I gotten from pizzerias. now the rice ball, like night and day compared to the sub. the rice ball, honestly I rather it be fried then oven heated, could be great with with a crispy shell and hot rice in the middle. wont be getting another rice ball again. meatball sub def getting another one, plus I saw a dessert calzone that looked awesome. have to try a slice another visit. :

Decided to try this pizza shop. The pizza is actually pretty good. This is my impression of this place. It is a bit odd because they don't CLEARLY post their slice prices at the counter or on their menu. As a result, you don't clearly know how much the different items cost. They serve vegan pizza as well but it is on a separate menu. I didn't even know they serve fountain soda until I saw another customer ordered it. The lighting at the counter is terrible because it does not showcase the food. Why do they offer personal size pizza on their menu when people could simply order pizza slices from the counter? As you can see, things are all over the place but the staff is nice and the pizza is pretty good. This is a good pizza place if you have to eat and dash quickly.

Very good pizza, crispy crust, excellent flavor, and really nice people. Came all the way from Queens just to eat there, of course drive was great with the Hemi.

The guys were friendly and the kid section was cute but the food was disgusting and overpriced, very disappointing.
