The coffee here is excellent, and the atmosphere is nice. However, the staff preparing the food appeared to be quite moody and unenthusiastic, which was a bit disappointing. I suppose that's just what we can expect from some millennials these days—there seems to be a sense of entitlement.

The staff member Aisha was not attentive at all. She spent a long time on the phone and only took our order once she was finished, which resulted in her getting it wrong. The restaurant was empty, so she could have asked someone else to assist us instead of wasting time on the call.

I ordered coffee with almond milk and an unsweetened flavor. As I began to sip it while walking away, I realized it was very sweet. I went back to the counter to let them know, and the barista insisted it wasn’t sweetened. I mentioned it must be an artificial sweetener, but he told me not to worry about it. I then requested a new coffee with just milk, but the woman at the register gave me a look as if I were being unreasonable. They both seemed annoyed. Eventually, they made me a new one with just milk, but once I went outside and tasted it, I found it was still sweet (though not as much) because the almond milk was sweetened. I didn’t want any sugar, whether real or artificial, and it’s really not their place to question my preferences. I ended up drinking it anyway but regretted it. I should have taken my tip back out of the jar. It was a disappointing experience.
