Ralph's on the Park - New Orleans

Vicky was a very pleasant waitress and the food was absolutely delicious!

Ralph in the Park is a hidden gem located in City Park. The food and service are consistently excellent. Big shoutout to Jeff for his outstanding work.

This was my fifth visit to this restaurant, and my experiences have been mixed. The atmosphere was so loud that I couldn't hear anyone at my table. The food and drinks were decent, but my daughter ordered a medium rare steak and received a rare one instead. It took a long time to flag down the waitress, so she ended up eating it. I mentioned that it was my twin's birthday dinner, but they made no effort to make it special. We opted to go somewhere else for dessert. Overall, I would rate it as a very average experience.

We loved this restaurant so much! We tried the turtle soup, the crabmeat au gratin, the duck and the redfish and dessert 20th anniversary specials. Every dish was wonderful. Our waiter Jeff was very attentive and all of the staff were friendly and gracious. This restaurant will definitely be in our New Orleans restaurant rotations from now on!

Rachel, our server, was excellent! Our food, speckled trout with fingerling potatoes, green beans and Vidalia onions, was EXCELLENT! And, the City Park salad is always delicious. The restaurant was particularly LOUD last night. Last night of first weekend of JazzFest and likely the party of TEN young adults at a nearby table were the genesis of that!!! We’ll be back again next year, though!!
