This restaurant has been an institution in Chinese cuisine in Neuwied for many years. Here too we want to return again and again. At the edge of the pedestrian zone it is still centrally located and with public parking (depending on the charge directly in front of the door). Heute waren wir wieder in Neuwied unterwegs und haben die Gelegenheit genutzt, im China Restaurant Singapur zum Mittagessen einzukehren. Dieses Restaurant ist seit vielen Jahren eine Institution für chinesische Küche in Neuwied. Wir kehren hier immer wieder gerne ein. Das Singapur liegt am Rande der Fußgängerzone, zentral gelegen und mit öffentlichen Parkplätzen direkt vor der Tür (kostenpflichtig). Zur Mittagszeit um 13:00 Uhr war das Restaurant gut besucht, 12 Tische waren mit 2-4 Personen besetzt. Der Service war wie immer sehr nett und vor allem schnell. Wir wurden freundlich begrüßt, die Karten wurden sofort gebracht und die Bestellung wurde aufgenommen, inklusive Getränke. Innerhalb kurzer Zeit wurden die Getränke und Vorspeisen serviert, dann folgten die Hauptgänge und schließlich das Dessert. Die Rechnung wurde prompt gebracht. Wir haben das günstige Mittagsmenü und ein Tellergericht gewählt. Das Menü beinhaltet eine Frühlingsrolle oder Tagessuppe als Vorspeise und ein Dessert. Unsere Wahl fiel auf gebratenes Schweinefleisch mit Gemüse und Tomatensuppe als Vorspeise für mich, und gebratene chinesische Reisnudeln mit Singapur Rollen als Vorspeise für meine Frau. Alle Speisen waren köstlich und gut gewürzt. Wir bestellten eine große Flasche Wasser dazu. Das Ambiente des Restaurants könnte eine Auffrischung vertragen, aber es ist trotzdem sauber und gepflegt, ebenso wie die Toiletten.

Zur Mittagszeit war das Singapur gut besucht, 12 Tische waren mit 2-4 Personen besetzt. Der Service war wie immer sehr nett und vor allem schnell. Die Bedienung war freundlich, die Speisekarten wurden sofort an den Tisch gebracht und die Bestellung wurde schnell aufgenommen. Die Getränke und Vorspeisen kamen innerhalb kurzer Zeit, gefolgt von den Hauptgerichten und dem Dessert. Die Rechnung wurde ebenfalls prompt gebracht. Wir entschieden uns für das günstige Mittagsmenü und ein Tellergericht. Das Essen war sehr lecker und gut abgeschmeckt. Das Ambiente könnte etwas modernisiert werden, aber alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Toiletten waren ebenfalls in einem gepflegten Zustand.
