Even worse if you bring guests from abroad in order to show them a nice place....That was one of the bad experiences. Waited at the bar (seven waiters chatting behind the bar in a foreign language and also looking at us) for 20 minutes and nothing happened. The place was not busy. The bar was half empty. No service. No excuses. We decided to go elsewhere.
View is really nice. But the food isn't so memorable. We waited close to 40 mins for 2 burgers and a salad. Wasn't really worth the wait.
I was here at the beginning of July. The workers were very kind and the view was magical. The food was fine, but the prices were a bit too high. I look forward to coming again.
The Mole used to be one of my favourite restaurants in Austria. But the change of owner has had mostly negative impact. The quality of food is still ok, but it is more expensive now. The choice of some reasonable items have varnished. An affordable...meal and a quick beer to pass by is no option anymore. And the most depressing change is that the restaurant has increased the number of tables to the highest possible number. It is now unbelievably loud on the deck as everybody needs to shout to make themself heard. I guess they can seat twice as many people as before. With this number of customers and the higher prices, this former lovely location has become a money machine and has lost its appeal. My place of Sehnsucht has dissapeared, tragic and sad!
