Please dont bother going to this place ..we were about to have a meal then overheard the complaints and decided to leave with just the drinks bill wot a fiasco never again management should be there to face people not left to the poor girls...working there

Lasagne,  chicken chips, the chicken well was so dry from being over cooked, the chips not cooked, the lasagne had well more pasta no taste very poor did complain when had to pay bill but had no reply he didnt acknowledge...my complaint.

Lovely Sunday Christmas Turkey dinner last Sunday loads of veg all hot and tasty service was great, and we were made very welcome

The main course was also disappointing, with cold beef, Yorkshire puddings that were fridge cold, overcooked vegetables, and partially cooked boiled potatoes. The Yorkshire pudding was microwaved and returned to us rubbery. The apple pie had uncooked pastry. When we asked to speak to the owner, they were not available, but someone who seemed to be the chef had a major attitude and informed us that they serve apple pie this way all year round. Despite expressing our dissatisfaction and disgust with the quality of the food, no apology was given. It was clear that they did not care at all. I would not recommend this pub to anyone, as it seems that our experience is not unique and the issues are not being addressed, only with a bad attitude. Additionally, the drinks were overpriced. I have never felt compelled to write a review before, but I believe it is important to warn others and prevent further disappointment. I will also be reporting this restaurant to the NPT Food Council.

Ladies for Xmas lunchI recommended as been here so many times was advised to book early as tables would full up quickly, arrived for the pub was empty when we arrived at another table when we left they did not order from...the xmas menu Soups arrived very very cold had to be taken back, main meals came beef was cold but thats the way they serve it Yorkshire pudding( we think it was was like a rock cold so that was taken back put in a microwave so it came back pure rubber could have bounced it on the floor,, I was feeling very bad as it was me who brought them here. most of the food went back too the vegetables dishes were so overcooked. deserts were utterly disgusting if you ate them you would be sick by now apple-pie was not cooked....asked to see a manager but no one availible.. then a lad came in think he was the chef did'nt give a dam no one has ever complained before !! my friend the pastry chef told him they were not cooked the soggy bottom looked awful apples were not cooked the pastry was so well burnt he said that they pies all came in like that ? really... the young waitress was getting all the complaints but what a disaster then was told when the bill came you cant have any money off. this was not about the money it was about the disgusting food you served up to us..And a copy of this is going to NPT food hygiene facebook..also my husband was asking at the golf meeting yesterday about them going there too golfers he asked me to bring back the xmas menu for them phew !! glad caught them in time will pass on the word as much as we can
