Avra - Nea Makri

Lovely location, next go the sea side. Offers calamari, octopus, French fries, sardines, salad. You can choose from a selection of 4-5 beers and house wine. Simple, nice, well cooked Greek sea food.

Everything was delicious. I especially like the hand made potato chips/fries. The squid portions are very generous, which pleasantly surprised me. And what a lovely spot, right next to the shore, the sea breeze gently blowing... Good times...

The food was very delicious and the service was good, the views were relaxing and the breeze from the ocean is exactly what we needed to stand the heat. The establishment needed some TLC to make it a 5 star experience..overall worth going if you like seafood .

Pros: Amazing food, quick service, great size of portions, view, location, parking space. The place is huge, but it is almost always full due to the high demand, and this demand tells all. The food is fresh, tasteful but not heavy. Liked a lot. Cons: The price. The bill was slightly more than we'd expect but that we consider the tax for the location and the intermediate vicinity of the sea.

The place has a small need for an upgrade but the seafood and the wine was great and at a reasonable price for the location. Service was friendly and the environment left enough room to talk naturally.
