Bidrage med feedbackA little torn between this place and Thai Chef. Still it delivers great food with great service. Spring rolls are pretty good here amongst the entree menu items and definitely worth the visit if you live or are visiting the Bay. Get in there... oh and BYO.
Had a really great meal here. It was very busy so the service was a little slow, but they made up for this with their fantastic quality food. I ordered the yellow curry with tofu, great portion size and decent amount of spice. Also ordered tom yum soup amazing flavour and a very large portion. Definitely got our money's worth at this restaurant and will be returning next time I am in Napier.
The service was good. although the meals took a while it was worth it. my entree of curry puffs was delicious! I ordered a spicy pork peanut sauce as a main meal which was very tasty and a big portion. i chose the medium heat, and i should warn that is hot enough! we were a large group and although they said they would keep bringing out bowls of rice for all of us to share, they gave us two between over 10 people which seems a bit stingey so we went in and asked for more and they gave us two more for the rest of our meals.. the rice wasn't nice either (quite sticky). i will be returning.
Really lovely suburban Thai restaurant. Usual kitsch decor, but the food for is much better than expected.<br/ <br/ Started with chicken satays and Thai spring rolls. Both lovely. Then the crispy pork Thai salad. Wow. Absolutely scrumptious. The highlight of the dishes. The pork belly pieces were moist yet crisp, whilst the dressing on the salad was mouth watering.<br/ <br/ Then the yellow prawn curry which was all a bit bland, and then the ginger beef. Yum. The kids adored the pad Thai chicken, always a winner, but this was better than most.<br/ <br/ Gewurtztraminer always makes Thai sing. This was blessed with rose and peach on the nose. Delightful foil for the Thai flavours.
Fresh rolls was great too and the waitress was very polite also kind. I’ve never tried Vietnamese food like this delicious in New Zealand!
