Lighthouse Bistro Pub - Nanaimo

A beautiful little place with a great atmosphere! I have celiac and can not eat gluten without fear of being incredibly ill. our server (the name I can't remember for living of me) was an incredibly friendly young man with evil cool tattoos. he informed me that although they do not have gluten-free food, he would make sure that my man and I have a safe and tasty gf meal. young he delivered, he even spoke with the kitchen to ask her to be careful while the prep. we had very delicious gf cajun hühnerburger on gf bungalows with a fresh garden salad. overall it wasn't the most amazing eating I ever had, but it was tasty, I wasn't sick, and the service was beyond stellar! the terrace also has an incredible harbour view. we will surely return to our next trip!

The PROS found ourselves in downtown Nanaimo yesterday, and we were looking for a place to #putitinmyMOUTH We decided we wanted to go somewhere iconic, and that had a great view. We got a great table, excellent service, a beautiful view and a tasty meal. PROS TIP : SAY YES TO THE GRAVY! PHOTO : Club House with Fries

Fish Tacos were very tasty. Seafood Chowder was good although had been looking for Clam Chowder. Great service and entertaining location as you can watch the boats, ferry, and seaplanes come and go as well as other harbour activities.

Nice place for dinner. We sat outside and enjoyed the harbour view. The fish and chips were good, the seafood chowder wasn't bad, not the best. Nice staff, didn't have to wait too long for our food.

Beautiful view, food was OK/good. A little bit costly, but you're actually paying for the Nice view and the great patio spot. Beer is cold! Nice place to enjoy one. I would go again. The meal on my pictures is the beef dip. Beef sandwich with onions and mushrooms, with a beef dip and a choice of fries or salad.
