Firehouse Grill - Nanaimo

I came here to Mother's Day and it was fantastic. all three of our meals were delicious. that was waiting a little long, but it was Mother's Day, so I get it. I had the pulled pork sandwich and pommes and they were so good. we also have the brownies with bacon ice cream and ice cream. both were amazing. the server was super sweet. definitiw the money for a special occasion worth, would recommend a reservation

We waited 45 minutes for a table, but the exceptional service and amazing eating on waiting and then some. the firehouse grill is widely regarded as the best restaurant in all nanaimo and it is a title very well deserved.

Was pleasantly surprised by this place, just googled “restaurants” when we got off the ferry and this place came up and looked interesting. They had a lot of veggie options for my vegan girlfriend, even the tempura batter was vegan which is never the case. The Sushi is different than any sushi I have ever had, in a good way. They are trying things that I have never seen at any other sushi restaurant. We also arrived near closing and the staff were kind enough to still seat us and just requested we order quickly so they could start closing the kitchen. We really appreciated them accommodating us!

Amazing place to eat! Comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. Amazing staff and very quick. This new location is a must-see. Most diverse menu I have seen, tons of vegetarian options, you can get anything from burgers to sushi. Can’t go wrong eating here!

I'm so glad we made a reservation here. We tried to walk in the night before but they were full due to reduced seating capacity. Our server was courteous and pretty quick for dealing with many tables. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious. We found the portions perfect. Enough you could have a three course meal (shared appie and dessert) and feel comfortably full but not over stuffed.
