Bidrage med feedbackPerfection! We have been visiting this restaurant for years, but this year we experienced a new facility. Cudos to the cook! Each frits was slightly golden brown and clean of dripping oils. The fries green tomatoes, coconut shrimps and Calamari were all the same. We were very excited. The view of the new terrace was exactly what we were looking for at sunset. Thank you Theresa and Irwin!
Food was really good and the view was spectacular as it was shore-side. There was a butcher's counter where you can purchase cuts of seafood also. I had the Shrimp Po boy, Corn on the cob, and Mac and cheese bites for the appetizer. It seems like a good place to stop and catch lunch or a quick bit. I also felt like the portion size was appropriate for the price paid (I left feeling full) All in all, I would recommend this place for a good lunch or dinner.
Delicious, and this is coming from someone who doesn’t like seafood..... We got fried calamari, hush puppies, the seafood platter (fish, shrimp, scallops, and oysters), and fried okra. All this food, under $35. Tasted so fresh. Batter wasn’t heavy and greasy. Fast and easy service for takeout. Very nice deck space on the sound to enjoy dine in as well.
Went at 1130 am. Empty, but efficient enough. Clam strips seemed frozen, not fresh. In OBX? Crab bisque was ok. Couldn’t get a smile out of bartender. Nice view. Good onion rings.
We were seated at the window on the water at sunset. It was absolutely gorgeous! Now to the food. The food was medicore at best. I ordered the crab cakes and shrimp which were ok. The sides to choose from were fries, rice, slaw (that came with the price of the meal. A side salad was $6 addition and the vegetable of the day was and extra also. I understand inflation however the high cost of the sides was interesting. Something I didn't understand. Myself and three of my co-workers were there for supper and wanted seperate checks to turn in for our business expenses however, we were told no matter how big the party they could only divide into 2 checks. I guess that is the policy but I just don't understand it.
